I use Microsoft Word with Track Changes and utilise the comments feature to give feedback, ask questions, and make suggestions. Using this feature allows you to see every suggested change. This will give you the freedom to look at each change individually and choose to accept or reject them.
I do two rounds of editing as a minimum. This is to ensure we haven't missed anything, and allows us to review the edits to make sure everything looks smooth before signing off. I want the end product to be in the best possible shape.
Upon request, I can provide a version of your manuscript with all of my suggested changes in place so that you can see what it would look like.
I price per project, rather than per word. This allows for a more transparent service and doesn't give you any unwanted surprises. Payment plans are available. Contact me for a quote here.

Free sample edit up to 3k words. This is usually a good idea for authors who want to get a feel for what the editing process is like, or to see if they are compatible with my work style.

In-text suggestions - I do this to demonstrate and better explain my comments, it is in no way intended to be a re-writing, although you may use the re-written parts if you wish.

At the end of the editing process, I provide you with the tracked manuscript, a detailed report that includes a summary, notes, and any additional comments, support, details of further resources, and anything else that I feel will benefit your writing process. My aim is to leave you feeling confident with your manuscript, and eager to write more.
I also create a style sheet that is yours to edit and use as you wish.
